Manifesting

A guide to manifesting shipments in Warehut

🛖
This is our guide to manifesting shipments in Warehut

Not all carriers require manifesting in Warehut. This guide is only applicable to carriers with manifesting requirements:

  1. DHL eCommerce

🧾 Manifesting procedure

If your site has been set up for pickups from a carrier that requires shipment manifesting, you will be able to access the Manifest Center by tapping on the document icon in the top right corner of the 1st tab in the app.

Use the manifest center to manifest DHL eCommerce shipments. Each manifest much match all shipments handed to DHL eCommerce in each pickup. If any fulfillments are under review or containing errors, correct these before generating a manifest.

  1. Each business day, at or before 6am in your local timezone, you will receive a push notification to the app confirming whether or not to expect a DHL eCommerce pickup that day. You can also check the manifest center directly for confirmation at the top of the screen. Pickups are automatically booked and cancelled based on the projected volume of DHL eCommerce shipments in your queue for the day. Pickups are scheduled between 2-4pm in your local timezone.
  1. Proceed with fulfillments as usual, sorting DHL eCommerce shipments into the gaylords provided.
  1. When a DHL eCommerce driver is present, tap on “Generate a manifest” in the Manifest Center to generate a manifest. This may take up to a minute, depending on the volume of shipments to be manifested for the day.
  1. Print the manifest on 4x6” thermal label stock. Print and share options are available via the app.
  1. Tap on “Submit a completed manifest” to submit the printed manifest. To do this, capture an image of the printed manifest BOL # barcode (the first page of the manifest). This marks all shipments in the manifest as collected and initiates tracking for each shipment. By submitting the manifest, you warrant that all fulfillments in the manifest are being handed over to DHL eCommerce at the submission time. Don't submit the manifest until the DHL eCommerce driver is present, otherwise if the DHL eCommerce driver doesn’t arrive, you will have inaccurately declared that the pickup was completed.
  1. Hand the printed manifest to the DHL eCommerce driver.

If requested by a Warehut client to hold, modify or edit any DHL eCommerce order after initial fulfillment has taken place, please refer the request to a member of the Warehut team. If the shipment has not been manifested, a member of the Warehut team may work with you to reverse or cancel the fulfillment. If the fulfillment has been manifested, it is too late to make any changes.

🚨
Due to carrier limitations, you cannot modify a manifest or any of the fulfillments it contains after generation. The Warehut team also cannot assist you to modify manifests, edit or cancel manifested orders.
