🛟 Who to contact for help
Contact Warehut support via the in-app chat to:
- order packaging
- modify orders
- get tech support
- onboarding and setup help.
Do not message your shipper in relation to any of the above. Your shipper cannot modify orders, upgrade orders to express shipping, modify line items in an order or order in new packaging supplies; they can only fulfill orders that are in their queue.
If you notice an order that appears to be missing tracking events, read this article and do not ask your shipper to re-send it. We explain why in the article, but the short version is that your shipper has probably already sent the item, but because USPS recycles tracking numbers this may not be reflected when you check the order status. This is a USPS glitch, so unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about this — although we’re working on it!
🙈 How to hide and unhide an order from your shipper
Warehut allows you to hide and unhide orders from your shipper. This is useful if you don’t want the order to be fulfilled right away (e.g. if some details are awaiting modification).
To hide an order, simply swipe to the right and tap the yellow eye icon. Once this is done, the order will not be visible to your shipper until you unhide it from them.
To unhide, simply swipe to the right again and tap the green eye icon. Your shipper will now be able to see and fulfill the order. Your shipper may fulfill visible orders at any time, so it’s important to hide orders that may be subject to change so that they are not fulfilled before you have the chance to make your required changes.
Contact your customer service rep to set your account to import all orders as hidden by default. This is useful when transitioning from a previous 3PL to Warehut or accepting pre-orders for products that are not currently in stock.

👉 How to select a shipping method
By default, orders are shipped with the lowest cost method for the particular delivery address and weight. However, you can select a different shipping method by tapping on an individual order in the app.
Warehut does not by default sync with the shipping method chosen by the customer in Shopify, because every user configures Shopify differently. To configure shipping method mapping from Shopify, read this article. We recommend discussing your mapping requirements with customer service, as you may need to place some test orders to confirm that the mapping is working correctly before selling.
Important: remember to hide the order beforehand and then unhide it after, otherwise your shipper may fulfill the order with the originally selected shipping method.
If you want a different default method (e.g. the default to be UPS ground), please contact customer service.

🏷️ How to add your own shipping label
You can add your own shipping label for $0.99. To do this, tap on an order, then tap on the “+” icon at the top right of the screen.
Important: remember to hide the order from your shipper in the meantime, or your shipper may fulfill the order with a Warehut label, which may not be refundable if already collected by the courier.
Only USPS and UPS labels are currently supported. Please contact Warehut customer support if you want to use a different courier.

📄 How to modify line items
To modify line items, swipe on the line items to delete or increment quantity.
Important: remember to hide the order beforehand and then unhide it after, otherwise your shipper may fulfill the original/unmodified order.

✏️ How to change a delivery address or add a line item
First, you’ll need to make the required change to the order in Shopify.
Once this is done, swipe on the order in the Warehut app to delete it. We’ll automatically re-import the updated order from Shopify within 15 mins of the change being made.
If you need to modify an order in a different way, please contact your customer service rep.

📦 How to notify Warehut and your shipper of inbound inventory
You must notify Warehut of all inbound stock deliveries at least 5 business days before arrival. (There is no need to separately message your shipper; they will be automatically notified when you follow the process below.)
To notify an inbound stock delivery, navigate to the “Inbound” screen on the app (the second tab in the dark green navigation bar at the bottom of the screen).
Then tap the light grey “+” icon at the top right of the screen and fill out the required information.
Important: before scheduling any inventory delivery, it’s vital that you read and familiarize yourself with the information contained in this article:
Make sure that all SKUs are configured correctly in Shopify before going through this process. If any SKUs are misconfigured, update them in Shopify. They should automatically update on Warehut’s end within the hour. If any updates fail, contact your customer service rep.
