Standard fee guide

At Warehut, we strive to provide cost-effective, efficient and transparent fulfillment services. Below is a breakdown of standard fees you may be charged while using Warehut.

Standard Warehut shipments include printed outbound shipping label(s) and digital customs documentation, when applicable. Packing slips are not included. Speak to your customer service rep if you require packing slips.

You can make the following modifications to Warehut-supplied labels via the app:

If you require additional options that we don’t support out of the box, such as return labels or custom text, codes or international customer/tax identifiers printed on shipping labels, you can upload your own labels via the app. To generate shipping labels, use a third party label provider such as Pirate Ship, Easypost or Shippo.

Label uploads are charged at $0.99 each.

Customs documentation for international shipments is included with Warehut-supplied labels in a standard digital format (EDI). Physical customs documentation is not printed and included with international orders. International shipments are sent as “abandon” (not return) if unable to be delivered, by default.

If you’re selling internationally, you are responsible for ensuring that all shipping labels, documentation and shipment contents comply with customs requirements in the destination country. If standard Warehut labels or policies don’t comply with customs requirements in a specific foreign country, you’ll need to upload you own labels for shipments to that country.

If you require non-standard options, such as multi-page packing slips, printed customs/tax documentation, identifiers or letter size printing, ad hoc fees will be charged for feasibility research and label/documentation generation/printing.

Receiving will be charged at your quoted receiving rates. We recommend shipping SKU-pure cartons or pallets to your Warehut to minimize receiving costs.

Brands are billed monthly for storage and SKU maintenance costs in advance.

Let’s say your monthly quoted storage cost is $0.99/cubic foot. Storage will be calculated for the coming month using your cubic consumption on the last business day of the previous month. If you deliver additional stock to your Warehut part way through the month, your storage charge may be adjusted for the part month of additional cubic consumption.

If your total stock volume in storage at Warehut doesn’t exceed 25 cubic feet, you will be charged a flat monthly storage fee of $25/month, to simplify your billing. You’ll be billed for storage and SKU maintenance for the next period in advance.

SKU maintenance charges are based on the number of active SKUs on the last business day of the previous month. Active SKUs are defined as SKUs physically in stock at your Warehut, or out of stock but previously in stock, unless you notify us in advance (on or before the 23rd day of the previous month) that a certain SKU(s) that are out of stock are also permanently discontinued. Abuse of this feature, such as discontinuing and then replenishing SKUs in a repetitive manner may incur ad hoc or backdated SKU maintenance charges.

Ad hoc work, such as sorting, receiving mixed-SKU or incorrectly labelled/damaged/incomplete cartons/pallets, outbound LTL shipment prep, kitting, counting, image capture or other tasks you may request will be billed at your standard ad hoc hourly rate, when performed during normal business hours.

Each invoice will include a payment processing fee when paid by credit/debit card. We recommend using Warehut Wallet to avoid payment processing fees.
